Over the decades, since the time the BVA began providing program services, the ability to communicate with the blinded veteran community has been basically limited to written or audio communications.  The world wide web dramatically increased the number of accessible and inexpensive methods for individuals to interact and share information.  The BVA embraced many of these through  social media such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Linkedin.  An avenue that BVA has yet to explore are the extremely popular Podcasts and streaming Internet radio channels.
